Ever wondered what Beyonce looks like taking a dump?? No? Anyone? Ok, not that I wonder but after watching this Solange video, you kind of get the picture. Please know that I am not promoting this video because I like Solange ( I have no beef, just don’t care for her…right now) but because I will be seeing her tonight in concert along with Estelle. This song and video T.O.N.Y is actually pretty good and well put together. After hearing this song it’s obvious who penned a lot of the good Destinys Child and Beyonce songs. Not that there is anything wrong with the now Websters defined “Bootlicious” penned by Beyonce, but Solange does have the potential to be place on the wall of great song writers ( Neo, The Dream, Faith Evans). Shout out to Kid Cudi who appears to be the “Baby Daddy” of the video. And of course, my love Cee-Lo for the production.
“Who killin em in the UK, everybody gonna say you K”! Not this time Mr. West. I’m telling you, I love Kanye, but how does he manage to feature on another artist song, but yet make it all about him? Oh well! Estelle is actually killing em in the UK. She’s one of London’s most popular acts right now and my favorite breakout artist of 2008. I didn’t hear too many new artist in 2008, but of the few I did hear, her 2nd LP album, Shine was the only new artist I could listen to without any skips (Jazmine Sullivan is fantastic, but my award goes to Estelle). Now, you’re probably wondering how is she the new artist of ’08. Technically she isn’t. She did drop a previous album in 2004, but since it didn’t make it’s way mainstream to the states, it’s new to me. To add to the credibility of a Mr. Cocky's co-sign, she also produced by six time Grammy award winner, John Legend. With these guys backing her up, her talent is definitely in the house and she will not just be a one hit wonder!
If you’re in the Dallas area and you didn’t get this blog too late, check out these ladies at the House of Blues. It’s standing room so you can buy your ticket at the gate! Whether you enjoy these ladies music or not, don’t you dare judge them!!

Can I take you down??
Is it ironic that Chris Brown sings, "take you down", but yet it seems as though he's going down? I don't know the facts but with his celebrity status it wouldn't be a shocker if he gets off. But I don't know what judge would let this guy go free after hearing what was done to Riri:
The document says this is what happened-Rhianna read a text message on Brown's cell phone from an ex girlfriend. The couple began fighting, verbally. And then it got ugly, really ugly.
Brown allegedly tried to shove Rhianna out of the car, began punching her even as blood filled her mouth.
And then police say he bit her.
When Rhianna called her assistant to tell her to have police come to her home, Brown allegedly threatened to kill her. (Fox News)
Watch the video below. This is what really pisses me off. I've had to come face to face with judges for outstanding tickets, warrants and other BS and I always say "ma'am" or "sir". This kid just says "yes ma'am" once??? And it's a female judge too!! You know she's singing, "Let me take you down...I really wanna take you down and show you what I'm about"

Funny Fridays: It's so cold in the D
Yo, this girl (T Baby) is the hottest thing coming out of Detroit right now! She has over a million youtube hits, radio stations play her music and people know her song! This is a video you must watch more than once. First just listen to the song. Then pay close attention the video: check the background, the back up dancers and whatnot. Then pay extra close attention to what she says. At the 2:19 mark in mid sentence, this girl just stops rapping! I love it! Get your laugh on and if you dare judge, you're no better than T Baby!

Throwback Thursdays: Love is blind
I'm not one to judge (a lot) so if RiRi wants to get back with C.Breezy, I hope she's aware of the consequences. I watch Oprah. I watch Tyra. I know that abusive men don't only hit you once. They apologize, but they still beat that ass as long as you stay and allow it. But I aint tryna preach. This one's for you RiRi!

The day I knew HE was real
Don't get it twisted now. I was raised in the Church and since I was able to breath, the belief and faith and God has always been there. But it's like, "hhhmmm, you tell me this Spirit is real, but how can I be for sure until I'm affected directly?" That day came early in the second semester of my freshman year in college. It had been long over 2 weeks since my English professor told me about a 10 page rough draft that was due. Like most Americans growing up, I took my free education for granted while in grade school. Of course my parents stayed on me and told me how detrimental an education was, but I didn't care. I just wanted to play my instrument and chase boys! I mean, I guess I came out ok: College graduate and a job that more than 20% of Americans would kill for. But I don't think any of this would have came to be if it weren't for that incident my freshman year. Now, of course since I found out that college was NOT free, I got a little bit more serious about school. But hell, it was easier. No homework every night, no band or basketball practices. Just four hours of class a day, 3 hour naps, 2.5 hours at someone apartment chillin and the remaining hours studying! Ahh, wasn't life grand then?? But back to the subject: The day I knew GOD was real.
So here it is, the day my paper is due and I only have 3 pages complete. I've never been a worrier. Maybe I'm just that carefree or maybe my faith is just THAT deep that I don't trip, but regardless; I rarely stress out! So, hours before the paper is due, I'm at my friend’s apartment chillin, watching TV, and maybe having a drink or two. And then it happens. Due to inclement weather the school shuts down!!! Now, what I failed to mention earlier was that I had this class in the evenings, ONCE A WEEK!!!! So all praises go to HIM!!! I had a whole 'nother seven days to complete this paper! This favor was so undeserving because I wasn't even trying to finish the paper! I was just in school chilling. But when that happened I never took it for granted. I realized right then and there that, THAT was the grace of GOD helping me not to fail! It was indeed a very humbling experience. So even past then, my nonchalant attitude stuck with me. I felt as though even if something wasn't going right, it will eventually pick up and if not, I'm a strong believer in "everything happens for a reason".

If you believe in God, Allah, Buddha or whomever( I aint judging) when was the moment YOU knew he was real? And if you believe in nothing, well, heck, I still wont judge you(God knows I can’t judge ANYONE)!

Featured Artist: Teedra Moses
I wanted to make my featured artist my "new artist", but who am I kidding? I'm no talent scout, so anyone I put up, whether they're popular or not, SOMEBODY has already done heard of them(Country pun intended)! This song is called "backstroke". Use your the dirty side of your brain and you can figure out what this song is about! Teedra has a really good voice and this song is FIRE! I really like it and I think you should add this to your "knockin boots" playlist on your ipod. Enjoy!
If I had Oprah's money...
If you know me, you know that I am a simple and practical person. I don't ask for much, but will give all I have to another. And honestly, I think most people think they ARE indeed that way...until they get some money. As I've grown and matured from what I thought were my childish ways, I've always said, "Oh, I'll live a simple life. I wouldn't buy 10 cars, a boat and my own island". And I wouldn't. But I would do some things that just doesn't make any sense! I would of course do all the cliche things first, like give money to the church, pay off all bills, and buy my family (Grandmother, Parents, brother, and my closest aunt and cousins) houses of their own. But after all that crap:
I would only have 2-3 cars: The Lancer ( To always remember where I came from), an escalade, and something with over 500hp
I would buy a home in Paris , TX and NYC
While I only know how to play brass and woodwind instruments, I would have a multimillion dollar studio in one of my homes (For days I just feel like freestyling).
I would commission Kanye West to produce a track for me at least 6 times a year
I would buy speakers (for music only) that would blow my hair when played at it's max!!
I would also have speakers throughout the home playing my ipod on shuffle
I would give money to my closest friends and if they dare ask for more, I will cut off all connections from them(That doesn't mean I would never give them money later, but it's tacky to ask. If they are THAT close, they will be around me anyway to reap the benefits of being my friend ).
I would give money to the "Save the Music" charity
I would give money to the SPCA
I would own at least 5 dogs ( 3 outside and 2 inside)
This may sound mean, but I would retire my parents and make my dad my gardener and my mom my cook and when the time comes, the nanny to my children.
I would buy more jewelry, purses and shoes than I would clothes
I would have an inside and outside pool
And I would devote a lot of my free time to film making...therefor I would have the best cameras, editing equipment and team!
With all that said, it doesn't seem like I would buy THAT much, but still, given the fact that I thought I was pretty simple, these are some outlandish things! Don't you dare judge me! "I love having my cake plus eating too! Shit, I got cake, what the F*** I'm spose to do?"
What would you do with Oprahs money????
